I believe that some of my best writing has been the product of my Advanced Placement English classes — AP Seminar and AP English Language and Composition. I never truly considered myself a writer prior to these classes (I always knew that I was a numbers kid), but I am forever indebted to these courses for strengthening my argumentative and analytical abilities. For the scientific writing sample, I have included a transcript from my AP Chemistry lab notebook — a genuinely phenomenal class that forced me to be able to connect observation and principles not only mental, but verbally on paper.
My analysis of nostalgia and the effects it imposes on psychology, social relationships, and general well-being while situated in the context of Gen Z. Three each feature a section dedicated to the type of effects and another for relating counterarguments.

An essay agreeing with her stance that community is crucial for achieving one's goals. Not only are a wide variety of evidence types used, but the caveats that extend from bullying and similar bad actors are addressed.
A report on the purpose, equipment, and method used to create titration curve graphs for three reactions. These were used to determine the Ka value of the weak acid while the principles of acid/base reactions are used to explain the graph transformations.
The writing that I have included as part of my Common App college application. Deeply personal, this 650-word essay talks of my backstory, wrapped in the metaphor of a tree enduring a storm.
